tinder box

the beijing olympics are a tinder box. First it will be the #1 target for protesters. second, china will have media it can’t control (if they attempt to censor US media, the media will hit back hard or leave, causing china to lose valuable  assets and face. open to attack by the world’s politicians.) third, China is cracking down on visas, making it harder for foreigners to enter the country. US citizens will balk, because it is hard enough leaving america, so going into a Communist state will be a nightmare. Same with other nationals. fourth, china has promised harsh measures against protesters, domestic and foreign. If china detains and tortures a US citizen, it will be an international incident. 5. China will take a hardline and can not lose face, it will only take one incident to set this off.

Hong Kong

China claims that communism is the most cost efficient system, yet Hong Kong, when it under british control, yielded higher profits. China, when it gained control, left things as they were, because they knew it would diminish profit if they changed it. Question is, how long will it stay that way? China will bring Hong Kong back into the government’s fold, bringing Hong Kong into the red.

China’s next product

After China’s big hit last year, lead and tainted pet food the year before that, how could they top it? Easy, mystery pops, lollipops with mystery flavors, like arsenic, lead and mystery flavor, can you guess what cancer causing chemical it is? Why not food, they have exported products that are deadly to what we hold dear, our kids and pets, why not you. Now you can experience the pain and agony of using goods that lack government oversight. You can’t complain, because they job is outsourced to another country is capitalism, says our congressman, and that is patriotic, so if you question, you are a terrorist. Makes you are tingly on the inside, no wait, it is just the lead.
